How quotes work, what gas costs, and which wallets Taskly signs you in with.

How quotes work

A service can display a dollar reference price, but the exact token quantity is agreed and locked when the order is funded.

Checkout turns the dollar reference into an exact token quantity using the Robinhood price feed. The quote is valid for 10 minutes; an expired or unavailable quote must be refreshed before funding.

Once funded, the token quantity never changes. Its dollar value can rise or fall while the freelancer works, and the order page shows both: the locked quantity and its current estimated value.

Gas

Every funding, delivery, release, and refund is a transaction on Robinhood Chain and needs a small amount of ETH for gas. The checkout sheet tells you when the connected wallet has no ETH before you sign anything.

Wallets

Sign in with your own wallet: connect it, confirm the network, and sign one message — no password, no email, no account to create. MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet and any other browser wallet work.

Tokens are released to the freelancer’s eligible wallet. Before a payout wallet is saved, it is checked against the issuer’s blocklist.

Turn tokenized stocks into a way to pay for work

Clients get the services they need. Freelancers receive the assets they agreed to earn. The marketplace connects the two through familiar hiring and delivery tools.
